The Panigale V4R is a race bike that has been developed and marketed as a road bike. There are only a handful motorcycles on this planet that have been made for top-class racing and also sold to the consumers – the Ducati Panigale V4R is one of them.

The Panigale V4R with its racing intent is also one of the most powerful road bikes on this planet. It is loaded with performance and technologies that makes it an extremely focused motorcycle. The 998cc V4 engine makes a whopping 221bhp at 15,250rpm and maximum torque of 112Nm at 11,500rpm. This motor is mated to a six-speed race gearbox with Ducati quickshift.
In terms of equipment, the bike is loaded with the world’s best. The Panigale V4R gets various riding and power modes, cornering ABS, traction control system, wheeli control, slide and engine braking control. There’s also an auto tyre calibration. The bike also gets power launch, full LED lights, GPS module, lap timer, Ohlins steering damper and other weight saving measures like forged wheels and carbon fibre mudguards. This Ducati weighs only 193kgs, making it to have one excellent power-to-weight ratios.
The Panigale V4R is expected to be launched in India in the next few months and will come as a completely-built-up(CBU) unit. The bike will be extremely expensive and will be bought by only a few.

The new Ducati Panigale V4 R is expected to return a mileage of 14-15 km/l which is good for this size of a bike.
Ducati Panigale V4 R Braking & Safety
The braking setup consists of twin 330 mm semi-floating disc brakes with 4-piston Brembo callipers at the front and a 245 mm disc at the rear with 2-piston callipers. The bike features a host of electronic aids such as Bosch cornering ABS, adjustable engine brake control and auto tyre calibration.
