Yamaha YZF-R25 comes with a 249 cc, twin cylinder, liquid cooling engine, producing 35.5 BHP @ 12000 rpm and 22.1 NM @ 10000 rpm. The gearbox being used is a 6-speed manual, with fuel injection for better efficiency and performance. The bike features a top speed of 173 kmph, which for a 250cc offering may be a mark of its high-performance nature. The suspension is employed on the Yamaha YZF-R25 for the front is that the 41 mm telescopic forks, whereas the rear features a mono-shock suspension. Yamaha YZF-R25 uses a 298 mm floating disc at the front whereas the rear is managed by a 220 mm single disc. 110-70 or 140-70 tires of 17 inch are used for the front and rear respectively. The whole system unites while racing and provides sharp cornering and more grip on uneven roads.
