Royal Enfield Meteor 350 New Updates
Royal Enfield has confirmed that the Meteor 350 are going to be launched by the top of June 2020. The upcoming motorcycle's launch was delayed due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. It is relied upon to be valued around Rs 1.75 lakh (ex-showroom) a premium of around Rs 19,000 over the Royal Enfield Thunderbird 350.
The production-ready version of the Royal Enfield Meteor 350 was spotted in March 2020. The Meteor 350 is predicted to exchange the Thunderbird 350X, with the latter not receiving BS6 update. Enfield has already confirmed that it has exhausted its BS4 stocks and is only selling BS6 units from March 21, 2020, which hints at the probable demise of the Thunderbird name.

Being the first bike based on the new J-platform, the new Royal Enfield Meteor 350 is seen sporting a new frame as well as a new motor. The styling remains fairly similar to the old Thunderbird 350X with a brightly coloured round tank, and blacked-out mechanicals and rims. The new 350cc motor is expected to be more powerful than the old 346cc UCE mill that produces 19.3PS and 28Nm. Hopefully, it will be smoother and arrive with a 6-speed transmission as well. The Meteor 350 will lock horns with the Bajaj Dominar 250 and Jawa Forty Two.
