Hero MotoCorp has been busy this pandemic ensuring its motorcycles meet the new BS6 emission norms. India’s largest two-wheeler brand has managed to upgrade its entire portfolio to meet the new emission norms, barring two motorcycles from its 200cc range: Xtreme 200S and the XPulse 200T. It has now updated its website indicating the Hero Xtreme 200S BS6 version will be launched soon.

Engine
While the motorcycle will still be powered by an equivalent 199.6cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled engine, the carbureted fueling system are going to be replaced by electronic fuel injection system . This might end in a small variation in its power output from the BS4 motor’s 18.1bhp and 17.1Nm. Transmission duties will still be handled by a five-speed gearbox.
