The Yamaha R15 V3 Monster Edition launched in India
The new limited-edition colours have been introduced as part of the ‘Call of the Blue 2.0’ campaign.
The mechanical set-up sees no change.
The limited-edition models cost slightly more than the standard versions.
Yamaha Motor India has rolled-out Monster Energy Yamaha Moto GP Limited Editions of selected models including YZF-R15 Version 3.0, FZ 25 and Cygnus Ray ZR in the country. These limited-edition models feature special colour schemes and cost slightly more than their respective standard shades.
That said, the YZF-R15 Version 3.0 costs Rs 500 more than the Darknight paint scheme at Rs 1.42 lakh. As for FZ 25, the Monster Energy scheme on the bike adds an additional premium of Rs 2,500, taking the price at Rs 1.36 lakh. The Cygnus Ray ZR sees a meagre price change of Rs 500 at 59,028 compared to the Darknight scheme and Rs 15,000 more than the standard shade (all prices mentioned ex-showroom). Besides, a complimentary ‘racing branded’ T-shirt is also being given with the limited edition model.
Yamaha Motor India has also announced the launch of the call of the Blue season 2 which debuted in 2018. As for the changes made to the limited edition models, it receives a new livery. All the above mentioned limited edition models sport a dual-tone colour scheme save for the body panels that are painted in black.

The fairing on the top of the fuel tank features a blue highlight and the front fender, fascia as well as fairing get the Monster energy badge. While the FZ-25, YZF-R15 V3.0 and the Cygnus Ray ZR get the Yamalube and ENEOS decals. The mechanical set-up on the limited edition models has been carried over from their standard versions
