Maruti Suzuki WagonR

The very popular Maruti Suzuki WagonR is about to be replaced by an all-new model. The next-gen WagonR will be underpinned by a lightweight platform. It will even offer a more modern design and some new features. Powering the next-gen WagonR will be an updated version of the current K10 engine that will comply with the upcoming BS6 emission norms. Another new tallboy that will be launched this year is the new-gen Santro. The all-new Santro will be underpinned by the last-gen i10’s platform. Hence, in all likelihood, the upcoming hot-hatch version of the Tiago will offer a maximum power of 110 PS along with peak torque of 150 Nm. Other than a more powerful engine, the car will also have a performance-tuned suspension and transmission. The launch is likely to take place towards the end of this year.

Another Tiago that will be launched in a few months is the electric-powered variant. Visually, the Tiago EV will look a lot like its regular variants. Tata will only add some batches to help you differentiate it from the regular models. Powering the car will be a 3-phase AC motor that generates roughly 40 Bhp.
